The AIADMK supremo, who will launch her campaign at Trichy on Wednesday, also shared the list of 41 candidates from the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) led by actor Vijayakanth.
On Sunday, the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) announced its decision to break its long-term alliance with AIADMK over a disagreement over seat sharing for the polls.
The MDMK, which decided against contesting assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, wanted 21 seats but Jayalalithaa was willing to give only 12. (ANI)
