New Delhi , July 21 (ANI): Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh this evening reiterated that his UPA Government will win the trust vote tomorrow, and refuted the allegation that MPs were being poached to muster the required strength to save his government.
He said that those who were making these allegations must come out with proof.
I am confident that the government will win the trust vote, he told media persons late evening after attending the first day of the two-day trust motion.
When asked whether he would resign in advance (before the trust vote) in case his government doesnt have the numbers, he said, this is a hypothetical question. We will win the trust vote.
On being asked about the allegations that the MPs were being poached to gain majority in the Lok Sabha, he said, anybody is free to make such allegations, but those who are saying this, must come out with proof substantiating such allegations.
To another question that his concern should be more towards controlling inflation than the nuclear deal, the Prime Minister said, we are concerned about controlling inflation.we are making serious efforts in this direction, and I am sure we will succeed in controlling price rise. (ANI)
