New Delhi, Nov.14 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party’’s Prime Ministerial candidate, L K Advani, on Friday asked voters in Ghaziabad to elect party president Rajnath Singh by a record margin to the Lok Sabha.
Addressing a public function organised by the Ghaziabad unit of the BJP at the party headquarters here, Advani said: “I will appeal you all to elect Rajnath Singh to Parliament with a record margin. It is not one person’’s contest. He is the party head and his victory would be a reflection of party’’s winning streak.”
The party declared candidates for 11 Lok Sabha seats on Tuesday which includes party heavyweights Kalyan Singh (Etah), Murli Manohar Joshi (Varanasi) and Menaka Gandhi (Anwala).
Thousands of workers were present on the occasion. Advani, took time out of the Central Election Committee meet to address the workers. ( ANI)
