New Delhi, June 14 (ANI): Dr Rajesh Talwar’s compounder-cum-receptionist Krishna has been remanded by a court in Ghaziabad to the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) custody for three days to facilitate his interrogation.
The CBI placed Krishna under arrest yesterday after a series of scientific test.
CBI Counsel R K Saini contended before Additional Civil Judge Deep Kant Mani that Krishna’s custodial interrogation was necessary to ensure more arrests in the case.
Saini pleaded for 14 days CBI custody of Krishna, and said that the agency was yet to recover the weapon used in the gruesome double murder of teenager Aarushi and her domestic help Hemraj.
The mobile phone of Aarushi, Hemraj and the blood soaked clothes are yet to be recovered said the CBI counsel in his plea before the court while seeking his custody.
Krishna’s lawyer F C Sharma, opposing the CBI’s plea, contended that his client had been in CBI’s illegal detention since June 3 and all the tests including narco analysis, brain mapping and lie detector tests were conducted without his consent.
The CBI had arrested Krishna on the basis of reports of polygraph test and narco-analysis test conducted on him at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory in Bangalore on June 12. (ANI)
