New York, Sept 19 (ANI): Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and wife Cynthia have peacefully settled their bitter divorce battle.

A-Rods lawyer Alan Kluger refused to go into details of the multimillion-dollar divorce case settlement that ends the couple’’s five-year marriage.

Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings,” the New York Daily news quoted a statement released by Kluger.

“They deliberately engaged in a private negotiation. This was and remains a personal family matter for both of them,” Kluger said.

Cynthia, 35, filed for divorce first over reports that her husband A-Rod “emotionally abandoned” her and their children and had a series of affairs.

While she declined to name anyone, she privately told friends that one of A-Rod’’s bevy of mistresses was Madonna.

Cynthia told pals that she believed the singer, who is married to movie-director Guy Ritchie, used the Jewish mysticism Kabbalah to seduce and brainwash her husband.

However, the Material Girl hitmaker vehemently denied having an affair with A-Rod, insisting they were just friends. (ANI)
