A 750 quid fake ID can help a terrorist disappear in the UK
April 21st, 2008 - 5:35 pm ICT by admin - Send to a friend: London, Apr 21 (ANI): If you are terrorist or a criminal and you want to do the disappearing act in Britain, all it takes is 750 pounds.
According to The Sun, 750 pounds can fetch you a counterfeit UK passport, National Insurance cards, driving licence and utility bills.
John Mapiye, originally from Zimbabwe, is a person who has perfected this art of providing fake papers and operates outside Luton rail station.
He told The Sun that he could also provide false degree, A-level and GCSE certificates plus MOT and tax discs.
He bragged: I can reinvent you and make you into whoever you want. Just tell me the name you want and Ill tell you the price.
Posing as illegal immigrants, The Sun team bought a Zimbabwe passport. It came complete with a bogus residence permit giving indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
We even obtained an NI card in Home Secretary Jacqui Smiths full name Jacqueline.
Mapiye also provided false papers to an Asian member of our undercover team who used an Arabic name.
Mapiye, who drives a black Mercedes A190, added: I get customers by recommendation, I dont advertise.
They send money and photos by post because they trust me. He said he had been doing this since 1999. (ANI)
