3 in 4 Brits would rather watch footie than bed a hottie!

July 3rd, 2008 - 1:31 pm ICT by ANI -

London, July 3 (ANI): Football fans in Britain, it seems, are pretty loyal towards the game, for they would rather see England lift the World Cup than bed a Page 3 babe.

Thats the conclusion of a new survey in which more than three-quarters of male supporters responded that they would snub a fling with the likes of Lucy Pinder, 24, to see their team win after 42 years.

Also 41percent of the blokes said they would cancel their wedding if it clashed with an England World Cup final.

One in four would even miss the birth of their child for tickets to a repeat of the last time the country was crowned world champs in 1966, when the late Bobby Moore lifted the trophy, the research found.

Down the pub, football is still the main topic of conversation with 72percent saying it is what they talk about most, claims a poll by TalkSport Magazine.

This survey has captured what men really think and talk about… football! The Daily Star quoted Magazine publisher James Mallinson, as saying. (ANI)
