Shimla, Feb 4 (IANS) Twenty-two senior IAS officers in Himachal Pradesh have been transferred in the first major administrative reshuffle since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government took over a month ago, an official said Monday.
The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials for whom transfer orders were issued Sunday include three additional chief secretaries and seven principal secretaries, a government spokesman told reporters.
Subhash Chander Negi, a 1978 batch IAS officer, has been posted as principal secretary of industries while Deepak Sanan has been posted as principal secretary of health.
Avay Shukla has been chosen for the post of additional chief secretary of forests while Ashok Thakur gets transport. J.P. Negi, a key official in the previous Congress regime, has been appointed principal secretary of youth services and sports. (IANS)
