2 Hizbul militants held in Jammu-Kashmir’s Baramulla district
October 17th, 2010 - 8:51 pm ICT by ANISrinagar, Oct.17 (ANI): Security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district have arrested two Hizbul Mujahideen militants during search operations. One pistol, one pistol magazine, five rounds and two hand grenades were recovered from their possession. According to police, during search operation at Tantraypora, Rahpora, Asthanpora and Hajam Mohallah in Palhallan, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Pattan by Baramulla Police and 29 Rashtriya Rifles, two local trained militants of HM outfit namely Hilal Ahmad Rather son of Ali Mohammad resident of Palhallan and Showkat Ahmad Mir son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Wasan Khoi Sumbal were apprehended. A First Information Report has been filed under section 7/25 of the Arms Act in this regard. (ANI)
