13 held for selling illicit liquor in Bihar
February 20th, 2011 - 4:59 pm ICT by ANIPatna, Feb.20 (ANI): Thirteen people have been arrested in Samastipur district of Bihar on Sunday for their involvement in sale of illicit liquor.According to police, these people have been arrested during raids in connection with the death of seven villagers who died after consuming spurious liquor at Kashipur on Friday.
More arrests are likely to be made, said Daljit Singh, Samastipur Superintendent of Police.
About 1400 pouches of country-made liquor and 90 bottles of foreign liquor were also seized during the raids, said police. (ANI)
