12 killed in road mishap in Jammu
November 3rd, 2009 - 2:02 pm ICT by IANSJammu, Nov 3 (IANS) At least 12 people were killed when a bus hit a tempo travelling on the Jammu-Pathankot highway near Kathua, about 80 km south-west of Jammu Tuesday morning, officials said.
Initial reports said that all 12 victims were from the same family.
According to reports, a bus heading for Amritsar tried to overtake the tempo near Kathua and killed seven people on the spot. Five others succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
