1,011 cr Mission Mode Project on IVFoRT making good progress: Govt.
September 1st, 2010 - 10:41 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Sep.1 (ANI): Union Home Minister P.Chidambaram said here on Wednesday that the rupees 1,011 crore mission mode project on Immigration, Visa and Foreigners’ Registration & Tracking (IVFoRT) continues to make good progress.
Mr. Chidambaram informed that the online visa application system with appointment scheduling was made mandatory for all visa applicants at the High Commission of India, Dhaka on August 17, 2010.
He also informed today that 28 Pakistani prisoners, who had completed their sentence, were repatriated to Pakistan on August 18, 2010.
The Home Minister P.Chidambaram gave this information while presenting the monthly report card of his ministry. (ANI)
