Woman dies of swine flu in Delhi, city toll 89
January 15th, 2010 - 10:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 15 (IANS) A 55-year-old woman died of swine flu in the national capital Friday, taking the toll due to H1N1 virus to 89, health authorities here said.
“A woman died at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital today. With this, the deaths from the swine flu infection in the city have reached 89,” Anjana Prakash, assistant nodal officer for swine flu in the capital, told IANS.
Prakash also said that there were four new cases of swine flu but none of them is children.
With these new infections, the total number of infections due to the pandemic has gone up to 9,584, the highest number in the country.
