Jan 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) While it is a prevalent idea that women should take dietary supplements and minerals to cope with nutritional deficiency, the reality is that men also need to do the same. The doctors and nutritionists are of the opinion that the daily meal of a healthy man should be replete with a number of vitamins, minerals and other supplements. The vitamins help men to stay active and boost their immunity against a number of ailments. Most of the men need a good multivitamin and Vitamin B Complex is the solution for this. It is great if the multivitamin contains vitamins B6 and B12. Men also need to take Vitamin E and C. These are required for sound prostrate health.
While a number of vitamins are obtained from food and vegetables the men may not get the goodness of those vitamins owing to various reasons. Due to the way the foods and vegetables are cooked may reduce the nutritional value. Some types of fruits and vegetable also lose nutritional value because they are stored in markets and fridges for long. Therefore, sometimes it becomes essential for men to take additional vitamin supplements. However, one needs to be careful while choosing a vitamin supplements. While a number of brands sell the so called herbal and natural vitamin supplements it is better to consult a diet expert before talking them.
Along with vitamins men also need to consume appropriate doses of mineral and fiber as they are also essential for maintaining good health. It is also essential for men to maintain a well balanced life and get adequate sleep.
