New York, May 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is a new trend that makes a person drunk faster, and that too with vodka. It’s simple, just put the vodka in your eyes and not in your mouth.
The practice is prevalent in the British campuses, and its popularity is now making it cross borders as well. The practice is now making its way to the United States and Vegas night clubbers are starting to enjoy ‘vodka eyeballing’. Lovers of the practice claims the practice gets them high earlier enough but experts say that claim may be misleading. They say since most of those who practice the Vodka eyeballing might already be drunk enough, so they cant be relied upon to judge the effect of the practice. And health officials claim that the practice might be dangerous.
However health officials have started showing concerns with the practice. It can be fun but health authorities say the practice can be harmful to you. They say that since vodka is 40 percent pure alcohol, so it is bound to cause inflammation of the eye. And that is not all, it may also cause clotting of the blood vessels in the eye.
A student graduate from the University who practiced the vodka eyeballing is still suffering. She says that her ‘vodka’ eye is always watering and she also has constant pain in her eyes. Doctors have also warned her that her sight would deteriorate further as she grows older.
