Vaccine Issues Haunt People In Flu Season

Aug 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This is the time of the year many people fall ill to ailments like flu and that is why a number of doctors suggest that people should get vaccinated. As far as the elderly lot is concerned the doctors prescribe one shot very year. To stay on the safer side some people opt for the vaccination. However, a section of the medical community is skeptical about the need of vaccination especially for the younger generation. The number of vaccine deaths has gone up in recent times. It has also raised the skepticism on the necessity of vaccination for all. Swine flu is wrecking havoc in some countries including India and the doctors have asked the public to get the H1N1 vaccine.
Since the instances of children dying after getting vaccinated is on the rise, the skepticism on the usefulness of vaccination is rising. Even f thee is a flu outbreak or anything similar it is always safer to ask a veteran doctor whether the kids should be given the vaccine or not. Some vaccines with strong ingredients can result in side effects in the kid’s body. There is no doubt that the flu virus can be fatal.
It is always best to go through the terms and policy of a vaccine and know about the possible side effects associated with it before one gets a shot. The flu virus is highly contagious and it needs to be treated with the right type of vaccination. Special care should be taken when it comes to the children. They may react to vaccines more strongly than the adults.
