UAE, South Korea sign MoU in health care
March 15th, 2011 - 1:22 pm ICT by IANSDubai, March 15 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with South Korea to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare.
Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, director general of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and Chin Soo-hee, South Korean minister of health and welfare, signed the MoU Monday.
Al Murooshid said the MoU will enhance cooperation in emerging healthcare fields and aid in the development of biotechnology and exchange of knowledge and information between the two countries.
The MoU also promotes training of personnel in medical and pharmaceutical science and technology.
