Nov 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Johnson & Johnson which is known as one of the leading children’s products maker worldwide is going through a rough phase in 2010. Many children’s products made by the company were not seen in the stores since May this year owing to a series of recalls issued by the company. At least 40 such medicine were affected by this. However, now the company has decided to start selling some of these products again which includes children’s Tylenol products.
Johnson & Johnson has reportedly started sending Tylenol kids version to the stores in the recent past. The grape flavored drink has been seen in some retail stores. It is also expected that the other products that it stopped selling all these months will also make a comeback in the market in the near future. Apart from the Tylenol grape syrup for kids, the company will also bring back Junior Strength Tylenol Meltaways Chewable Tablets and Children’s Tylenol Meltaways Chewable Tablets. Tylenol brand of drugs were taken off the shelves earlier this year owing to odor and packaging related issues. However, the company is yet to start shipping Children’s Tylenol Plus liquids as well as Children’s and Infants’ Motrin liquids, reports have suggested.
The news of Johnson & Johnson resuming the shipping of Tylenol has sent waves in the medical community and the users. The company has a loyal user base for sure. However, the Tylenol recall fiasco is still remembered by many. The question remains whether the parents will be willing to buy the Tylenol products for their kids again. It is not known whether the company will also resume shipping the Tylenol meant for adult users.
