Two more swine flu deaths in Delhi, toll 85 (Lead)
January 9th, 2010 - 11:17 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 9 (IANS) Two more people have died due to swine flu in the national capital, taking the number of casualties due to the pandemic virus to 85, health authorities said Saturday.
The details of the deaths were not yet known.
The city also reported 10 new cases of swine flu Saturday.
“Of these, one is a 12-year-old. The total number of those affected by the disease is now 9,543,” Anjana Prakash, Delhi’s deputy nodal officer for swine flu, told IANS.
Over 50 percent of those affected by swine flu in Delhi are children.
