Two more swine flu deaths in Delhi
December 26th, 2009 - 8:25 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 26 (IANS) The national capital Saturday recorded two more swine flu deaths, taking the toll here to 66, health authorities said.
“There were two deaths because of Influenza A(H1N1) today (Saturday). One was in the Apollo hospital and the other one at the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital,” Anjana Prakash, assistant nodal officer for swine flu cases in Delhi, told IANS.
At least 88 new cases of swine flu were reported during the day in Delhi, she added.
“Of the 88 new cases, 42 were children. This takes the total number of those affected by swine flu in the capital to 9,071,” Prakash said.
Among those affected are 5,171 are children.
