Two more die of dengue in Delhi
October 1st, 2010 - 8:21 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS) Two people died of dengue in the national capital Friday, taking the toll in the city due to the vector-borne disease this year to seven, an official of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) said.
The dead — Rajbir aged 14 and Raj 10 — were admitted in the Ganga Ram Hospital in central Delhi.
Meanwhile, the capital reported 86 new cases of dengue Friday, pushing the number to 3,383. The figure has crossed the 2006 peak of 3,366 cases.
