Three new dengue cases in Delhi, tally 1,146
December 11th, 2009 - 7:07 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 11 (IANS) Three new dengue cases were reported in the national capital Friday, taking the total number of people affected by the mosquito-borne disease to 1,146, a health official said.
“Delhi reported three new cases of dengue Friday. The total number of cases now is 1,146,” a health department official told IANS.
Of the total affected, 15 patients are from outside Delhi.
Three people have died due to the disease this year in Delhi - two boys aged 15 and 10, and a 45-year-old man.
Last year, the capital reported two dengue deaths and a total of 1,312 cases.
