Swine flu cases touch 9,580 in Delhi
January 14th, 2010 - 8:29 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 14 (IANS) With five new cases, the total number of swine flu cases in the capital touched 9,580, a health official Thursday said.
“There were five new cases of Influenza A (H1N1) reported today, of which two were children. This has increased the total number of cases to 9,580,” Anjana Prakash, assistant nodal officer for swine flu in Delhi, told IANS.
The total number of children affected by swine flu till now is 5,334.
On Wednesday, a man died of swine flu in the capital taking to 88 the toll in the city due to the pandemic virus. There were no new deaths reported Thursday.
