Dec. 05, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Many people used to consider Slim Fast drinks as one of the best products for losing weight but now they would have to opt for some other products. For few days people are asked not to consume the health drinks of Slim Fast as Unilever company, that manufactures this drink has recalled them from the market. Officials stated that traces of B.cereus bacteria have been found in the Slim Fast drinks and so people are asked to stop consuming these drinks.

According to the sources, people who have purchased the contaminated drinks are asked to throw away the packages as it can cause health problems to them. The company has issued a toll free number where people can call and get the complete value of the package of Slim Fast drink that they had purchased. Shops are asked to stop further sale of this product and return them back to the company. Officials of the company have issued the recall of the drinks irrespective of their manufacturing date, flavor or any other feature. As the recall is applicable to all the drinks of the company, people would not have to face any problem in identifying the bacteria contaminated product.

It has been stated that the bacteria that is found in the drinks of Slim Fast will not be a threat to life of people and no reports of food poisoning have been issued after the consumption of these drinks. Yet, the company considers that it would be better if people do not consume these drinks till the company declares it to be safe.
