Punj Lloyd bags Rs.115 crore project for AIIMS-like hospital
April 30th, 2010 - 8:41 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 30 (IANS) Engineering group Punj Lloyd Friday bagged a Rs.115 crore contract for constructing a hospital on the lines of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Chhattisgarh.
The group secured the project from the health ministry.
“The scope of work includes the construction of medical college and hostel complex at AIIMS, Raipur. The order will be executed over a period of 15 months,” a group statement said.
The hospital will be one of the six referral hospitals on the lines of AIIMS, New Delhi that the health ministry proposes to set up across the country.
The 960-bed hospital will provide healthcare facilities in 39 specialty or super-specialty disciplines.
