Probe lodged into woman’s death in hospital during outage
October 14th, 2009 - 9:50 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS) A three-member team will probe a 74-year-old woman’s death in a government hospital here last week when her life support device stopped working during a power cut, Delhi Health Minister Kiran Walia said Wednesday.
Sharda Gaur, who was admitted to the Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital, died Oct 11 after her life support system failed during power cut.
“The committee will look into matter and will submit its report within seven days,” said Kiran Walia.
