NCOA Launches “Straight Talk For Seniors On Health Reform”

ageChicago, March 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, on Monday, the National Council On Aging (NCOA) has reportedly begun the campaign called “Straight Talk for Seniors On Health Reform”. This campaign which will be conducted in different phases, aims to make clear to the older citizens of United States what they will get from the Health Reform Bill or rather how it will affect their life.

Ever since the proposal of The Health Reform Bill has come forward, it has created confusion among many of the older citizens who feel deprived of proper information. According to the executive of NCOA, this initiative has been taken by the organization to serve to the needs of older generation. The non profit organization NCOA will begin with a consumer education campaign which will put in front of the citizens the plans of the health care reform. According to them, the Straight talk will allow the citizens to make their own choice regarding the health care.

On March 15, “The Straight Talk for Seniors On Health Reform” put the first step forward in this direction by putting on their website a two page fact sheet. The fact sheet can be downloaded by the citizens. The organization has also reportedly said that the fact sheet will be updated with each and every development that is made in the Health Care Reform Bill. The organization is planning to come up with more interaction with the senior members of the society and clear their doubts on this fact. The organization will be holding question answer sessions with senior citizens at many places reportedly.
