Navjot Sidhu’s wife admitted in Delhi hospital

New Delhi, July 3 (IANS) The wife of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was rushed to Delhi in an air ambulance from Patiala Friday, was admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital here.
A hospital medical bulletin said her condition is critical but stable.
Navjot Kaur was admitted to Apollo hospital July 2 with febrile illness, the medical bulletin said. “She is being investigated and managed in the intensive care by a team of medical specialists,” it added.
She had to be brought here in an air ambulance as her blood platelet count dropped.
Sidhu, a cricketer-turned-politician, represents Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency.
