January 11th, 2011 - 2:03 pm ICT by IANSNew York, Jan 11 (IANS) Veteran Hollywood actor Michael Douglas has finally beaten his throat cancer after going through intense radiation and chemotherapy to treat his tumour. “I feel good, relieved. The tumour is gone. But, you know, I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain,” people.com quoted Douglas as saying.
And as he recovers, the actor says his appetite is back and he’s slowly gaining the weight he lost during the illness.
“I lost about 32 lbs. And I’ve put about 12 back. But, I mean, I got another 20, 25 to go,” he added.
