Man dies of swine flu in Delhi, city’s toll 68
December 29th, 2009 - 7:24 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 29 (IANS) A 23-year-old man died of swine flu here Tuesday, taking the influenza A (H1N1) toll in Delhi to 68, health officials said.
“The man died at Safdarjung hospital here,” Anjana Prakash, deputy nodal officer in-charge of swine flu in Delhi, told IANS.
Delhi also reported 62 new swine flu cases, of which 18 were children. The cumulative total now stands at 9,260.
“The swine flu cases have recorded a downfall in the past few days,” she said. Earlier, on an average, over 100 cases were reported every day.
