Man dies of swine flu in Delhi, city toll 88
January 13th, 2010 - 10:01 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 13 (IANS) A man died of swine flu in the capital Wednesday taking the toll in the city due to the pandemic virus to 88, an official said.
“One male died at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital,” Anjana Prakash, Delhi’s deputy nodal officer for swine flu, told IANS.
With this the cumulative death figure in the capital has reached 88.
Prakash also said that the city witnessed five new infections of which two are children.
So far, Delhi has reported 9,575 cases of swine flu, of which around 60 percent are children.
