Lipioc Acid Helps Control Blood Pressure

A recent study has found that Lipioc Acid can help lower blood pressure. One of the causes of high blood pressure is the constriction of blood vessels. In such people the blood vessels remain in a tensed state and cannot relax. In this context the recent study has made breakthroughs. It has been found that regular doses of alpha lipoic acid and acetyl-L-carnitine for two months can significantly increase the circumference of the arteries. Thus the arteries which cannot normally dilate by themselves are able to do so when the combination of alpha lipoic acid and acetyl-L-carnitine is taken. This in turn helps regulate blood pressure levels. Doctors might soon be prescribing the dosage to high blood pressure patients.

Alpha Lipioc Acid is also a very effective anti-oxidant and very beneficial for the skin. It has today become an essential ingredient in many of the leading cosmetic brands’ products, and is being increasingly used by more and more people. Lipoic acid’s first medicative properties were related to the treatment of defeciencies in the vitamins C and E. A similar function is also performed by Dihydrolipoic acid which also generates antioxidants. Alpha Lipioc Acid thus acts as a scavenger and purifies the blood. As the benefits of this acid is increasingly coming to light more and more research is being conducted on Alpha Lipioc Acid. It has to be remembered that not all scientific studies are of the same opinion. There are differences and studies are going on to know more about Alpha Lipioc Acid.
