Letter Shows The Possible Link Between The New Swine Flu Jab And Guillain Barre Syndrome

According to the sources The Health Protection Agency has ordered the doctors to check for increases in a brain disorder known as Guillain Barre syndrome once the national vaccination program commences.
The letters provided refers to the use of a swine flu vaccine in the United States in 1976, when 25 people reportedly died from GBS while one died from the ongoing menace called swine flu. Guillain Barre syndrome, which can be fatal, causes adverse effect on the lining of the nerves, causing paralysis. Questions have been raised that the new swine flu vaccines have not been properly tested and the effects of the vaccine on children are still unknown.
According to the sources, in a letter sent by The Health Protection Agency it has been clearly mentioned that the neurologists should closely monitor any cases of GBS as the vaccine is rolled out. The letter is like a reminder of the 25 deaths caused by GBS in the year 1976. Although the swine flu virus in the new vaccine is different from that of the 1976 one, but still the possibilities of the occurrence of GBS still remains a major concern for the neurologists.
According to the sources, in one letter it was reportedly said, “The vaccines used to combat an expected swine influenza pandemic in 1976 were shown to be associated with GBS and were withdrawn from use. GBS has been identified as a condition needing enhanced surveillance when the swine flu vaccines are rolled out.”
The recent developments suggest that the neurologists are battling it hard to find a specific relation between the swine flu and GBS.
