cognitiveCalifornia, Mar 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Over 2 Million Americans who suffer vehemently from schizophrenia might see some hope to live a better day. Jong H. Yoon, assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at University of California Davis Health System, claims so. He gave in reasons to support his study of observations on how the lack of a certain chemical entity in human brain is directly linked to the string of hallucinations and delusions that the schizophrenic patients are subjected to. What is predominantly important here is that the study might offer a new insight into enhancing cognitive thinking, striving towards its improvement that would be beneficial at large.

Apparently, very less is known to the researchers of the specific disease and it is being said that a lot is yet to be explored about the neurobiology of the disease in which cognitive thinking is an important thing to consider. Jong H. Yoon is however of the opinion that for correct diagnosis of schizophrenia one needs to hold on to target treatment. His study is being regarded as the very first among all to have considered cognitive deficient as an integral part of the Schizophrenia. This is evident as the victims of the disease witness abnormal expressions of reality and perception. Moreover, the auditory delusions and hallucinations of vision are all regulars to have happened to the patients.

Cameron Carter, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and director of the Imaging Research Center People said that the study shall involve a peep into the brains’ functioning of all real time sufferers in figuring out the relation to cognitive thinking which they feel is a prominent cause of schizophrenia.

I am interestd in this because I had three bouts of cognitive disruption where I heard voices that weren’t there an dsaw visions that were not there. It seemed so real at the time. They were each after huge harmonal shifts, and starvations. I was diagnosed schizonphrenic at one time, but have been completely healed by focusing on two facts.
    1. God is good
    2. I am loved and everything happens for a reason. I hold on to these facts and look at ways to be functionally useful taking care of myself and family and avoid thinking of the past incidences or dwelling on anything negative even though I do have health problems. (Bad feet from day one, back problems and severe hearing loss. so my road is not easy to be positive, but very possible.) I make sure to get adequate rest and avoid cafeine, sugar, and chemical laden foods. I hope this helps. Good night.
