Keller Rohrback investigates Abbot Laboratories regarding weight loss drug

October 10, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Reports are that the weight reducing drug Meridia, which is a prescription weight loss drug manufactured and marketed by the Abbott laboratories, has side effects and investigations into it are still on.
According to various news reports, the Attorney Advertising firm Kellar Rohrback, is still continuing its investigations about the weight loss drug, and have already pointed out that the appetite suppressant Sibutramine, an important ingredient in the weight reducing drug, is harmful for people with very high level of heart diseases.
Earlier, Abbott Labs had agreed to withdraw the drug immediately from the market, after it had received a detailed request from the Food and Drug Administration or the FDA, which had given out this request when it had studied the data from the reputed organization called, Sibutramine Cardiovascular Outcomes Trai or the ‘SCOUT’.
Further reports are that the New England Journal of Medicine has reported that people with a history of prolonged heart diseases, who take in the drug Meridia, can be prone to higher risks of a stroke, or a heart attack!
