Indian becomes UAE’s first swine flu victim
August 21st, 2009 - 11:56 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Abu Dhabi, Aug 21 (IANS) A 63-year-old Indian man has died of swine flu in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), making him the first victim to succumb to the viral disease in the country, WAM news agency reported Friday.
The victim was suffering from severe respiratory and lung infections, the health ministry said.
The ministry has called on the people to immediately visit hospital in case they suffer from swine flu symptoms.
