Himachal gears up to tackle swine flu
December 8th, 2009 - 4:33 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Shimla, Dec 8 (IANS) Authorities in Himachal Pradesh have decided to step up measures to tackle swine flu after another person died of H1N1 virus, Health Minister Rajeev Bindal said Tuesday.
“We are strengthening strategies to counter the further outbreak of swine flu. The strategies include spreading awareness among people,” Bindal told IANS.
A 22-year-old pregnant woman Monday died of swine flu at the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital here. Eighteen patients have tested positive for H1N1 in the state.
