January 12th, 2011 - 7:56 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Jan 12 (IANS) The Haryana government wants the retirement age of medical education faculty raised from 65 years to 70 in view of a shortage of teachers in the field, the state’s health minister said Wednesday.Speaking at a conference of health ministers in Hyderabad, Haryana’s Health and Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that keeping in mind the shortage of medical education faculty, the proposal to raise their retirement age from 65 to 70 years needed consideration.
