Haryana districts to have eye banks
December 27th, 2009 - 8:31 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Chandigarh, Dec 27 (IANS) Eye banks will be set up in all districts of Haryana with ambulance connectivity to facilitate easy and quicker eye donations, a state minister said Sunday.
Health, Education and Social Welfare Minister Geeta Bhukkal said in a statement that these eye banks would be launched from Jan 26.
She said the banks would be connected with the ambulance service and people can donate eyes by calling number 102.
