Five new swine flu cases in Delhi
January 16th, 2010 - 9:20 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS) Five new swine flu cases were reported in the national capital Saturday, a health official said.
“There were five new swine flu cases, including of a child, reported in the city today (Saturday). There were no deaths reported,” Anjana Prakash, assistant nodal officer for swine flu in the capital, told IANS.
The new cases take the total number of infections in the city so far to 9,589, the highest in the country.
On Friday, a 55-year-old woman succumbed to the disease, taking the toll due to Influenza A (H1N1) to 89 in the capital.
