Family of five in Chennai quarantined with suspected swine flu

Chennai, June 13 (IANS) A couple and their three children who flew in from the US Saturday morning and showed symptoms of swine flu have been quarantined, officials said.
The family arrived by a Lufthansa flight.

They showed symptoms of the inlfuenza A (H1N1) and were taken to the Communicable Diseases Hospital in Chennai where tests for swine flu were done on them.

“One child showed symptoms of the flu,” said the official.

The family was advised to remain in the hospital, which they refused. They are quarantined in a leading city hospital
