Washington DC, Feb 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The H1N1 virus, which was better known as ‘swine flu’ is on the receding path. Experts are of the opinion that the H1N1 virus already has one foot in the grave, and there are many reasons to believe that it wouldn’t terrorize the world again this year.

Things are looking good, because the H1N1 virus is not showing any signs of mutating, and so the experts believe that there wouldn’t be any wave of swine flu later this year. Other research has also indicated that the treatments, and the vaccine have worked wonderfully, and since the virus is also not mutating, so things are looking good.

However the US Federal Health officials still aren’t ready to declare that the threat has officially passed. However they did report that for the fourth week in a row, no states had widespread flu activity. The swine flu cases in the US have been on a decline since October 2009, as the vaccine against it has been very effective.
