Allahabad, Aug 3 (IANS) A case has been registered against a doctor and three employees of a government hospital here for dumping two seriously ill patients on the outskirts of the district, police said Wednesday.

Doctor Sonu Sharma, ward boys Dharmendra and Raju Yadav and ambulance driver Shiv Nirmal of the Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital were booked for attempt to murder.

Barring the doctor, the others have been arrested.

According to police, following Sharma’s instructions, the ward boys and the ambulance driver Tuesday dumped two of the hospital patients who were deserted by their attendants probably due to poor financial conditions.
