Delhi reports 95 fresh cases of swine flu
December 25th, 2009 - 8:58 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 25 (IANS) Delhi Friday reported 95 fresh cases of swine flu of which 40 were children. There was no death and the toll remained at 64, health authorities said.
“No more death due to swine flu was reported. A total of 94 fresh cases were reported and 40 of them are children. These numbers are tentative and could go up as we have not received reports from two private labs due to the holiday,” Anjana Prakash, deputy nodal officer in charge of swine flu in Delhi, told IANS.
“With this, the total cases of infection across the city has reached 8,983,” Prakash added.
Delhi has recorded highest number of swine flu cases across the country.
