Oct 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A recent study by Belgian researchers gives an ornamented and permanent solution for your common cold and flu. All these years, you have been suffering from repetitive common cold every winter, to be treated with the same old typical medicines. Its time to resort to something smarter that can combat common viral diseases with ease and prevent you from falling prey to it over and again.
“Silver Bullet” is the new technique that will help you from preventing cold and curing it. It is a spray that contains tiny nano particles of silver attached to harmless bacteria. The researchers came to the conclusion that silver helps harmless bacteria in fighting viruses and thereby stopping it from causing any further infections. The substance comes in the form of a spray. All you have to do is, throw the spray all over your nose and hands, and the harmless bacteria will start reacting against the viruses to sustain your health. The researchers claimed that this spray would be more effective in fighting nasty vomiting bug, or norovirus, and other viruses that cause flu and common cold.
The Bacteria, Lactobacillus fermentum, emit the silver nano particles and engulf the harmful viruses with the help of these particles, leaving the germs incapable of spreading the disease. These silver particles may be 10,000 times smaller than the width of human hair, but their large surface area enables the engulfing of the viruses. Lead researcher, prof. Willy Verstraete, of University of Ghent, went to the extent of claiming that this discovery will make common cold and flu go Dodo’s way. He has also added that even after these bacteria expire, there impact remains intact and effective.
