Contaminated cocaine can even cause the flash to rot

New York, Jun 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is bad news for cocaine addicts. Recent research has indicated that contaminated cocaine can even cause the flesh to rot. And that is not all, regular cocaine usage can also have other side effects such as abnormal heartbeat, blood pressure issues, hallucinations, convulsions and even strokes as well. lick here to find out more!

“If you are a user of cocaine, you should be aware that some of the cocaine is not clean and can have other agents that can cause you to have a low white-cell count or skin tissue death,” according to Dr. Ghinwa Dumyati, who is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Rochester and is also an epidemiologist for the Monroe County Health Department in New York.

The results of the study were published in the ‘Annals of Internal Medicine’ in its 1st June issue. And in that study Dr. Ghinwa Dumyati and other doctors of the University of Rochester Medical Center talk about their patients, who were regular cocaine users, who were experiencing purplish plaques on various portions of their bodies. The doctors studied their case history and determined that the toxic effects of levamisole, which is used to dilute cocaine, were basically causing it. “Almost 80 percent of the cocaine coming into this country has levamisole mixed in,” Dumyati warned.
