Chief justice of India under observation in hospital
December 10th, 2009 - 11:44 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS) Chief Justice of India K.G. Balakrishnan was stable and under observation in a city hospital here, a hospital official said Thursday, a day after he had been admitted with a stomach ailment.
He was admitted to the Apollo Hospital Wednesday with diarrhoea and vomiting.
Balakrishnan, 64, is the 37th chief justice of India.
