Chandigarh gets online eye donation service
September 6th, 2010 - 9:13 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Chandigarh, Sep 6 (IANS) In a bid to spread awareness and to remove inhibitions about eye donation, an online eye donation pledge service was launched here Monday.
Eminent theatre personality Neelam Mansingh inaugurated the service provided by Cornea Centre Chandigarh (CCC), which is run by eye specialist Ashok Sharma.
The online pledge form is available on www.corneacentre.com
“This is a very noble initiative and I am feeling proud I am associated with it,” Mansingh told reporters here.
