Capital to get 70 ambulances, 100 dialysis centres

New Delhi, July 4 (IANS) The capital will get 70 ambulances and 100 hundred dialysis centres to provide quality health service to its citizens, said Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit here Wednesday.

“Some 70 ambulances and 100 dialysis centers will soon be available for the citizens of Delhi. This will go a long way in providing ambulance service during any emergency to people,” Dikshit, while addressing representatives of Residents Welfare Association on a eight-day Bhagidari Workshop at Talkatora Stadium, said.

The workshop began June 29.

Dikshit said the government is committed to provide quality health services across the capital.

Social Welfare and Women and Child Development Minister Kiran Walia, along with Delhi Women Commission Chaiperson Barkha Shukla Singh were also present in the workshop.
