New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS) Activist Anna Hazare might be taken to Medanta hospital after he breaks his fast here at the Ramlila ground Sunday, a doctor said.
“Most likely he would be taken to the hospital as he is not well. He has not been eating since the past 12 days, he has to be closely checked and monitored,” said Balram Gupta, a member of Naresh Trehan’s team.
He might remain in the hospital for a couple of days due to his deteriorating health condition, he added.
Hazare, 74, who has been fasting since Aug 16 demanding a strong Lokpal bill, was supposed to go to Rajghat after breaking his fast at 10 a.m. But now that is unlikely.
Hazare decided to end his fast after the parliament agreed to the three key issues demanded by him Saturday.
